Improvement of Our Blood Pressure

Most of us are already aware that high blood pressure can lead to development of catastrophic events such as stroke or heart attack. But the most scaring thing is that the increased blood pressure can be very often symptom-free until something disastrous takes place. This is the reason that we should daily eat foods that help to reduce our hypertension. Beets are able to do that: in a few hours after eating them your pressure is reduced by 4-10 mmHg.

This happens thanks to a powerful component of beetroot called dietary nitrate that is transformed within our body into nitric oxide, which in turn corrects our blood flow.
